word of the day: STOCKING FILLERS/ STOCKING STUFFERS – drobne prezenty do świątecznej
skarpety (small presents that fit into a Christmas stocking)
(1)
Stocking fillers are one of the more fun things to shop for at Christmas time. It’s
an opportunity to treat your loved ones
to those ‘little somethings’ that they’ve had their eye on in previous months.
(2)
Don’t shy away from old-fashioned
stocking stuffers such as: clementines
(or any fruits such as oranges, apples, pears or anything they’ll eat!), a
chocolate orange, old-fashioned peppermint sticks or packs of nuts, chocolate
coins and home-baked biscuits such as gingerbread men.
(3)
My favourite stocking stuffers are colouring books and new crayons. I usually
add some chocolates and small dollar
store books or toys.
(4)
My favourite stocking filler is the person’s favourite treat - for example my dad adores
jelly babies so I always make up a
little decorated package of them. I love surprising people with their favourite
treats :)
